  5. Four Winds is a computer version of the traditional 
  6. Chinese game of tiles, Mah Jong. The game was introduced 
  7. in America early in the 20th century and has now 
  8. become popular all over the world.
  9.  
  10. We're sure you'll find Four Winds almost as 
  11. challenging and fascinating as the real thing. 
  12. There are several rule presets you can choose 
  13. from (Japanese, Classical American, Contemporary 
  14. European, etc.), and you can define the player 
  15. characteristics of your opponents. 
  16. You'll certainly enjoy the beauty of the graphics, 
  17. and ease and smoothness of the playing.

  19. You can concentrate on your strategy and leave the 
  20. tedious part (dealing, scoring, etc.) to 
  21. the computer.

  23. In addition to a tutorial, a comprehensive help file is 
  24. included, explaining all the rules and discussing the 
  25. playing strategies.

  30. The Setup program lets you choose from 
  31. three setup types:

  34. - 256 color graphics for 640x480 and 800x600 display modes
  35. - On-line Help
  36. - Theme plug-ins

  38. - Disk space needed: 3,63 MB
  39. b) Compact
  40. - 256 color graphics for 640x480 display mode
  41. - No help files
  42. - No Theme plug-ins
  43. - No sample games
  44. - Disk space needed: 1,70 MB
  45. c) Custom
  46. - Lets you decide which components to install
  47. - Full installation requires about 3,63 MB free disk space
  48. - Minimum installation (256 color graphics for 640x480 display, 
  49. no help, no sounds, no samples and no Theme plug-ins)
  50. requires about 1,3 MB free disk space

  52. There's also an interactive tutorial available as a separate 
  53. download. There will be free additional graphic and sound themes 
  54. available for registrated users.

  56. Note: 16-color modules can be obtained as a separate download
  57. from Four Winds web site.

  60. Finnish versions of the software are currently available.
